shygaladriel: "Hush now, Soldier of the Wood." She murmured, placing her hand gently on the sweating brow of the sleeping elfmaid. "Cast even these enemies out." She paused, withdrew her hand, and sighed deeply, "Our children face more darkness than we can protect them from, but by Eru's aid, the darkness shall not last, and we shall see peace."

Awakening, Tauiel found her cheeks tear stained and her eyes … well, her eyes felt heavy to say the least. A sense of hopelessness was casted over the younger elf. The orc raids had taken what little they had left. The battle had stripped so many of her kin’s lives from them — without even a goodbye, they were all dead and now more died.

“Solider…." her voice was a lot stronger than she felt. "It is time we all took up swords, daughters and sons are no different now.” She mused out loud, coming to a catharsis by the Lady of the Lights words. “We shall see peace when the enemy is bled dry.” Standing, her sorrow turning to livid animosity towards the ones who stripped the innocence of their free will and life.
