To the best of his knowledge they were not expecting many visitors on this day, then again not everyone told him everything that needed to be said. He was usually informed if guests were arriving for meal’s sake but he didn’t doubt that she had a purpose here. Speaking of which, why was she there? He bowed his head curtly at the mention of her name. “The woodland realm?” he repeated after her, curious to come across the continent. “Welcome to Imladris, Tauriel. Is my lord expecting you this evening. He is out at the moment but he will be arriving any time now. I am Mamberuon Luthion, I may also be called Naem.”

She nodded her head in appreciation for his words and greeting, moving to draw her hands behind her back. “Mamberuon Luthion, or Naem?” She tried the words against her lips, unsure of which to choose. “No, I do not believe the Lord to be expecting me. I come on my own tidings, and only for a short while wishing to see Imladris for my first–” and perhaps my last time, cutting her sentence off sharply,  her gaze moved from his face to the foliage once more. It was hard not to smile at the sounds of the sweet-song bids and the gentle babble of the running water.

Life was ceased everyday in the woodlands, having braved through one battle only to await the true war that they all knew knocked upon their doors now, she was simply fulfilling a lifes wish at this point. To see all that she could see.

“Imladris is beautiful, I did not believe there to be such a place of peace left in Middle Earth.”
