erebor-prince:

*coughs loudly, in the nearby bushes.*

In silence she observed.

The sway of each leaf as if it’s lover, the wind, had taken a hold of the tree and sent it in shudders which left the fallen leaves to the wind’s selfish hold. Away they were lifted, from the light of day into the dark of the forest, pulled by an unseen force, felt only by the gentle caress against the She-Elfs cheek.

The forest was dark, the trees no longer spoke and the animals … well, they never really frolicked around the forest in leisure to begin with, so Tauriel couldn’t really grasp the meaning of teaming with life. But their was enough life, only the strongest – the most savage of any creatures survived in these woods.

Until a loud cough quite rudely interrupted this meditation session. Narrowing her hazel eyes, Tauriel stood lithe as a tree and as strong as stone. Leaving not a single blade bent, she parted the bush with her hand to peer into it.

“…”

A dwarf.

A Dwarf.

A Dwarf.

Tauriel blinked.

“… Hello.”
