He understood her concern, and the manner in which she refused to unveil herself. Few wished to make themselves vulnerable in the sight of a giant beast such as Grey Wind. Robb had seen the beast tear man’s limbs like grass from the ground.

A single hand delicately rested between Grey Wind’s ears, calming the beast with a silent command. The wolf responded, teeth no longer bared, and it sat down next to Robb.

Tauriel emerged between the dense foliage, her garb concealed her form until she truly came forth away from the brush. Standing as tall any man, she looked to the wolf in greeting first, her hands limp at her side. The beast was beautiful in more ways than one.

Long cascading waist length curls flowed around her woodland garb as the wind blew once more, a storm held scent upon the air. The wind shifted her braids, exposing her pointed ears for only a moment before resettling against her form.

Cautiously she watched the male who sat high upon his horse. He would know where she was, she mused, but could she trust him to know that she had non bearings on the land? He could hunt her – the idea almost amused her had the wolf not been so imposing. She had taken down larger beasts without batting a lash but their was an aura to these wolf that she valued.

“He if your friend.” She stated in half question, inclining her head to the wolf.
