Haldir raised an eyebrow. A game would make it feel less like an interrogation.

“Very well. I suppose it is my turn, yes?”

He paused for a moment to think.

“Have you always lived in the Woodland Realm?”

“Yes,” she nodded, inclining her head to her right, “Well – yes. I have not always lived so far North.. but I was rather young when we … moved." 

The words fell from Tauriels lips like rocks in water, she didn’t want to say why they moved north – the conversation would escalate rather quickly and Tauriel felt as though she wouldn’t gain much knowledge but rather sympathy in that retrospect. 

Smiling, Tauriel asked, "What is it like being a Galadhrim?”
