Whats heartwrenching about this, is that I’ve never even considered for even a meager moment what it would be like if Tauriel was a memory to Kili. “That he would be a memory..” jfc. sobbing.

Ugh.  I know, right?  Can you just imagine?  He’d probably engrave this girl in his heart.  ; _____ ;

/SOBS WITH YOU

I don’t want to imagine because my inner elf just dies of sorrow and sadness – oh no, he would!

When she’d awaken in Valinor with her body and all of her memories, her last thoughts would be of him trying so desperately to heal her. What’s worse is that she’d have to come to terms with the fact, he’s dead and he’s gone. It’s all just memories, even if she returned to middle earth to find his legacy– which, depending on the au! Or canon, would—!
OMG !

Imagine if she returned, somehow, and found Kili, who survived the battle of 5 armies, old and withered and known as The Prince Who Never Married.
Imagine what it would be like for him because she’s immortal, she’s ageless– she’s exactly the same way she looked before she died all those years ago and he’s wrinkled, aged and dying.
