He wasn’t lying when he had said she was adorable, covered in orc’s blood after an impressive fight. All right, perhaps it was a small lie. Because adorable wasn’t quite the right word —

She was stunning.

If he had to pinpoint the moment when this elf he liked to pester started shifting into a creature he wanted to pester and taste and touch, it would have been that moment.

This time, a handful of such skirmishes in their past now, Fenrir had decided to use hands instead of claws, and had desperately snapped the neck of an orc who had nearly struck her.

“Tauriel,” he started, staring at her whilst they stood around corpses. He was about to ask something stupid like are you okay or you got a little something right here or you are so stunning and I love watching you move—

Instead, he cradled her jaw and tugged her forwards and caught her lips with his. He breathed in her scent mixed with the sharp stench of orc blood and lingered as long as he could, working to encourage her lips open so he could properly taste her.

Tauriels moist breathe filtered into the dark air. Both her blade and the snow clad in red illuminated with the silver light of the moon through the dense foliage of the woodlands. The orcs they had laid waist to now had pure white snowfall covering their form. Cleaning her blades before returning them to their sheaths under her white cloak.

Tauriel didn’t hear the Orc until Fen had snapped its neck, cracking more bones than one. Turning at the mention of her name and the cracking of bone, she was greeted by a pull forward into his embrace where soft lips and warm hands cradled her.

Emerald eyes widened in response to the sudden intimate action, and she swore she felt the moist opening of his mouth– within the instant the back of her hand made contact with the wolf- changers face; a solid crack rang through the clearing as she stood glaring with mixed emotions at the male who suddenly decided he had affections for her.
